The City of Woodcreek encompasses the area around the original 18-hole golf course, Camp Young Judaea and Brookmeadow to the north, Canyon Creek to the south, the Oak Orchard Enclave to the east, and includes the Villas of Cypress Creek development south of Cypress Creek at Ranch Road 12.
The City does not extend beyond the low-water crossing by Cypress Point.
The City's population in the 2010 Census was 1,457; there are 748 residences and 18 multi-family units.
The City is entirely residential other than Camp Young Judaea, the Quicksand Golf Course, and the liquor store.
Building permits are required for new structures, fences, accessory buildings and pools. Permits are not required for interior remodeling that does not change the size or exterior of the structure.
The City has permanent bans on burning, feeding deer and fireworks.
The City has adopted a Water Quality Protection Ordinance limiting impervious cover to 30%.
